About Us
Blue Yonder Bison Ranch is family owned and operated by the Godwins and Hubers. Our goal is to provide our customers with premium quality bison meat. We engage with communities across the U.S. promoting the consumption of bison by highlighting the numerous health benefits associated with bison meat. We aim to enhance the farm to table experience by building relationships with our customers and offering an open ranch policy for anyone wanting to better understand where their food comes from and how it is produced. As stewards of the land, we must utilize concepts of conservation ranch management and understand how our actions affect the greater ecosystem.

How We Got Here
2018
Corey & Allison were looking for opportunities for an agricultural lifestyle after Corey left active duty in the Air Force. On the way home from a ski trip, they passed a bison ranch, and decided to look into bison ranching. They attended their first Rocky Mountain Bison Association (RMBA) conference and decided to pursue the dream of a bison ranch.
2024
After a few life changes and a few more RMBA conferences, Corey and Allison, along with their parents, began looking for ranches more seriously. They visited ranches throughout Colorado, and began the search for the place to raise their family and start their business.
2025
Corey & Allison found their forever home and began working on plans to move their family to Matheson, Colorado and start their own bison ranch to be able to share their Live Wild, Live Free vision with others.
